This superhero has swapped her old plastic toothbrush for a biodegrade bamboo one made by Bristle. 99% biodegradable, FSC-certified handle and BPA-free nylon bristles (a very 😇 brush!), when it has brushed until it can brush no more, she takes the bristles out and pops it in the compost. This is a brilliant way of not adding to the billions of plastic toothbrushes thrown away every year. It's estimated that a total of 12.2 million tonnes of plastic enters the marine environment each year. 94% of the plastic in our oceans is actually on the sea floor, where it is almost impossible to clean up.
